New wheels are off

Put on my new rims and tires and the drivers side rear sits in more than the passenger side. Is this the way it is supposed to be or do I need a spacer or something. Will I be dog tracking.

Re: New wheels are off

I dont think your wheels are the problem. It sounds like your rearend is not centered on the frame. Do you have suspension mods?

It's got a 2/4 drop, springs and shocks. We had the rearend out but put it back in the same spot.

Be sure to check the offset of the rear wheels and front wheels

Re: New wheels are off

Lowering the rear will cause it to track to one side. You can correct it with an adjustable panhard bar or a Super Track bar kit from ECE.

Re: New wheels are off

Yep Austex is right. I put on the Ece 2/4 kit and later put on shock relocater and adjustable pan hard bar, when I measured I think I was just shy of two inches off center even with that little of drop.

Re: New wheels are off

I have a adjustable panhard bar on it, all from ECE. I will play with it some more and see what happens.

Re: New wheels are off

For mine, I measured and used a ratchet strap to suck it into place. Then adjusted the panhard and dropped it in. It settled just a bit (less than 1/2") but was way closer.

Re: New wheels are off

i guess adjustable panhard bars should come with better instructions explaining the adjustable concept
