Re: DIY4X CrossMember for SBC & BBC

Can you take a measurement between these points, I have a Cummins that I need to know won’t be too wide to fit between the two flanges.

What made you decide to not use the crossmember?

Well hell, what about the underside of the flat where the tube meets the flat plate? I could always modify it depending on that measurement.

So close. If you get a chance can you get a picture from the front level with the frame. I’m trying to compare to my current engine placement with a 2wd crossmember so I can reference height. If my engine sits high enough then I can use it

Depends, what is your zip?

Also, Madkidd007 was first to reply so if he ends up passing after I get him the pics tomorrow, you'll be first in line.

Thank you sir. I’ll get a picture of my setup tonight so I can compare tomorrow. My actual oil pan is only 10” wide but the lip and block are 12” so height will be the defining factor

Re: DIY4X CrossMember for SBC & BBC

Well, I found a couple of pictures online. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like the newer or older style or going to work for me because of the height. Thanks for your time
