Master Cylinder & Booster Question

Looking to run a booster, 8 inch dual on my 67 disc drum conversion. I see a listing on ebay, booster + master + prop valve for around $200. It states the master is a 1 inch bore - does this sound OK for my application based on bore size and booster size? Running this booster for the clearance and also to flush mount on my firewall.

Re: Master Cylinder & Booster Question

Usually on power brakes with our trucks you would want the 1 1/8 master cylinder. Without the booster 1”.

It also appears we’re in the same neck of the woods

Re: Master Cylinder & Booster Question

Check in the Vendors section, CaptainFab has a booster/MC/PV for our trucks- other vendors as well. Imo, you can personalize your system so you get what you want, and be able to communicate before and after if you purchase a unit.

Re: Master Cylinder & Booster Question

FWIW my PB/MC kit from CPP on my 72 (converted from manual to power front disc) uses a 1 1/8" bore MC
