Just got an '84 Dually

Hi,

Thought I'd introduce myself to this side of the board. I've been daily driving a '67 GMC with the 305 V6 engine around until the motor mounts and transmission mount bit the dust...while I wait to get them re-vulcanized(argh.....wish they still made these parts..need to put a 454 in it) I picked up my first '80s Chevy, it is a 1 ton dually that was a service body truck, it has had an '04 dually bed swapped on to replace the service body.

It's a rebuilt 350 small block from a '95 van engine along with a 3 speed automatic transmission(th350 ? th400? need to check somehow) , runs and drives great so far.

Welcome to this side of the boards man! It's a pleasure to have you join us. I'm sure you know this from the 67-72 side, but we LOVE pics!!

How well does the newer bed fit on the older trucks? Does it look out of place?
