John Force Wreck

I don't know a lot of details. Engine went - BIG. Car got of of shape, one wall and then the other. Actually, almost hard to believe he was alive, let alone awake and still communicating. Last I knew, was in ICU. Prayers for JF and family.

The crash.

Re: John Force Wreck

I saw this the other day. He's in rough shape, in a neurological ICU. Of course, I'm not privy to his medical details, but that kind of explosion can lead to a lot of internal damage, like blast lung. He's lucky to be alive at this point.

Re: John Force Wreck

John is a tough old guy. He's no stranger to explosions and crashes. Remember "I saw Elvis at 1,000 feet"! That was from a crash at Memphis.
Even though he's 75 I believe he can come back from this one. 157 national event wins. And he had recently decided to hang it up soon, step back from full time driving. Maybe looking at nostalgia drags. I hope the best for him.

Re: John Force Wreck

That sounds like good news. I assume they kept him under for a prescribed length of time and then stopped the sedative to let him come back to the surface when he was ready. I don't know much about this process, but I hope this means he's on the mend.
