Marty68 do you have an S10 rear end with drum brakes on a stock AD frame with a cross shaft? If you do what I did with my 12 bolt rear end on my stock AD frame should work for you. I used stock parking brake cables for the 12 bolt and threaded the cables through the original AD yoke ends connecting the rear assembly to the cross shaft. I used cable stops with set screws to allow for adjustment. From the cross shaft forward it's all original.

Nvrdone did something similar but used heim ends and changed to an S10 foot assembly. Here's the link to how he described his.
