5 lug rear drums...?

so I bought a set of 5 lug rear axles for my 69 c10, I am not sure which drums will work with it? can anyone tell me what year drums I need to buy for it? it is a 12 bolt rear end originally 6 lugs now 5, can I use the drums for a 70-72 5 lug c10 rear end? any help is appreciated

I don't know the answer to your question but where did you get the axles? I am interested in doing the same thing to my 69 c10. Thanks.

As long as they snugly fit over your year brake shoes and the depth is the same it doesn't really matter.
so measure the diameter and the depth and your good to go.

I bought them from summit racing on Ebay, manufacturer is SAG (Superior Axle and Gear), I read pretty good reviews on them

I think they will have to be for the same diameter and brak shoe width or they will not set on the axle register properly. The 70 I am working on right now has a 2" wide shoe, dont remember the diameter though. I just had the axles welded up,had the register partially turned down to fit the 5-lug wheel but still center the drum , redrilled in 5on5 pattern and had the drums drilled to match
