Got Snowballs dash done!!!
Well today is a milestone day as I got the dash completed!!!.
I did remove the cigarette lighter and put in a USB port. But I did use the lighter knob to put on the front of the USB cover to keep with the OEM look. Next up, after finding the backup light short, will the steering then brakes. Or, maybe finish up the stereo box where the gas tank use to be.

Re: Got Snowballs dash done!!!
The column looks like it is angled to the left, is it just the pic?

Re: Got Snowballs dash done!!!
The USB port is for a boat so it has a rubber cove for it. You can see the cover in the detail picture. What I did was drill a hole in the cover and ground down a screw to act as the shaft for the knob. I ground down the head to fit in between the two teeth and a low profile. The knob is from the wiper switch so you have the set screw to hold it in place.
As for the steering column looking like it is to the left. It is as I only have it hanging there by the front bracket. Its not fastened to the firewall as I put it in to get the measurement from the steering box to the new steering column.

Re: Got Snowballs dash done!!!
Thanks guys, it has definitely been a long road and frustrating at times but it is nice to see it getting closer to the end and being able to drive it.

Re: Got Snowballs dash done!!!
The radio and center speaker are RetroSound. Radio is a RetroSound Hermosa (RES-HB-119-23-93) with Bluetooth, etc. I bent the backside of the ashtray down so that I could run the radios external USB input and aux cable inputs there. As for the phone mic I ran that up the A-pillar and out where the sun visor mounts. Putting on the rear support strap is critical as the radio handle stems are very weak and would not support the radio for long.
For the center speaker its a RetroSound D-412. They claim it is a direct replacement but its not. It is taller so its a vey tight fit when you go to put the radio in. A/C I'm in the process of building a speaker box where the gas tank was. That will be for the rear speakers. Current plan for the amp is to mount it under the center jump seat. The bass speaker will need to be a shallow one and be put in the speaker box also.
