busy couple of weeks for the 70 GMC

As the title says...1)sealed drip rail and laid down some 3M 2) painted cab..no more surface rust, 3) replaced cab bushings 4) installed 3 pt seat belts 4) made a console and 5) found something cool I have been looking for.
Dang cab mount on front passenger side was a booger. Rust and dirt made it stubborn. Look at all that crap. Found out I will have to weld a washer in the divet to get bolt head to sit below floor.
As far as the cool factor, found the c10/c30 car hauler.
Its a good feeling to have done this, by my body has been paying for it. Gonna have to rest up and enjoy for a little while.

Nice work man. I know what you mean, with every project I take on, the recovery period seems to take just a bit longer than it used to. As a friend of mine says, "gettin old aint for the weak!" Any shots of the paint work on the cab?

sure thing. Not bad for the first time...im tickled anyway. Some orange peel, but I am not concerned with that. Afterwards, I wnt on and painted the mirrors to match. BTW the white around the windshield is not paint, its delaiminated and the "frost" is all the way around.
