wiper arms

i am having problems getting my wiper arms off. there is a thin tab at the
base of the arm i dont know if thats the release for it on not.

Lift the arm up as high as it will go. You have to hold it in that position while prying the bottom off its pivot. Seems like you need three hands to do it but it will come off with some coaxing.

Warning: they may be stuck so it may require some serious prying or coaxing. I use a towel under a claw hammer or pry bar and ease it up. Try not to damage the paint.

There is a removal tool that works pretty well. Most "Help" sections in auto parts stores have them and you will not skin up your cowl using it.

thanks, paint is not really an issue and i did get off with out any damage to the cowl. and all it took was 2 screw drivers.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
