Re: Radiator help please.
You trying to stay stock or go modern?
Be Cool has a good reputation for radiators. Check out your water pump as well and make sure it's pushing enough volume through. |

Re: RADIATOR Help please
Myself, and several others have had great success with Champion radiators. They come in 2 row, 2 row with 1 inch tubes, 3 and 4 row. They're sold on ebay all the time.

Re: RADIATOR Help please
I need one too. I want a 4 core but on eBay I can only find 2 and 3 cores... Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Re: RADIATOR Help please
The older 3 and 4 core radiators have small cooling cores.
Newer 2-row radiators like ours have 1-1.25" thick cores for more efficiency, and a lifetime warranty! http://www.speedcooling.com/1967-197...r/prod_38.html or our premium setups: http://www.entropyrad.com/radiators/...evy-truck.html

Re: RADIATOR Help please
Shawno has pics of his champion radiator installed here, it's post #75 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=663051&page=3. He got the standard 2 row and said it doesn't overheat. I have a champion 3 row that doesn't overheat at idle without a shroud, but I just purchased their 2 row with 1 inch rows so I can use my shroud. ( I purchased the wrong size 3 row) they bolt in, look great, carry a warranty, and can be had on ebay cheap. I can't speak to the quality of the entropy radiators, not too many people have posted about them yet. Best of luck with either, but if you go with entropy, post some pics of real world fit and function!

Re: RADIATOR Help please
It looks like you have the shorter 2 or 3 row mounts. Look into the radiator cap hole towards the core ( you might need a flashlight) you should see some thin side by side slits. If you see just two of them l--l it's a two row. If you see three of them l---l it's a three row. Those will be stacked all the way up the core height.

Re: RADIATOR Help please
I run a 2 row champion myself. Only problem I had was with the threads for the tranny lines stripped out when installing them. So I bought a heavy duty trans cooler and mounted it in front of the radiator.
