Semi Front Conversion Pic's?

Anybody have some....

For those who don't know, there was a company selling a front clip conversion for the 73-80's that made your truck look like a semi. The hood was narrowed approx 18 inches (so it was no wider than the radiator) in the front and v'ed toward the cab, the fenders were flat. Basicaly, it made a 73-80 look like a 93-up Dodge truck...

There was one running around town for many years...the guy promised to sell it to me, but he died and the kids scraped it...

Here's a picture I took in November 1984 at a winter indoor truck pull. Real truck parts used here!

Re: Semi Front Conversion Pic's?

I might be able to help out with this one. Dug up the Aug ’80 issue of Truckin’ and found this article about a big rig conversion for Chevies. And my wife wonders why I keep every one of the thousands of car mags I’ve bought since I was a kid!
