Oil Leak

I need help with a oil leak on my 350/th350. I have seen the signs of a oil leak on my driveway but never thought much of it in the past (very little oil) but in the past week or two it has gotten worse. Well, I got under the truck today and it appears that the leak is coming from the pan next to the oil filter. There is a hole in the center of the top edge that does not appear to have threads. When I saw a drip from there I put a rag on it and then 5-8 drips would come out very fast. Is there supposed to be a plug there or something??

I should have gotten a pic but a thunder storm has rolled in.
