Re: Need help pricing 65 chevy

Well the emblems on the fender are from a 64 so it may be a 64. What is the vin? That will tell you what year it is for sure. The vin is located in the door jam

Re: Need help pricing 65 chevy

According to the title the vin # is c2545n136425. I have searched the truck over and havent found a number on anything except the motor and under the truck on the frame and neither of them were vin numbers unless the frame has been changed. Im not even sure if its 3/4 ton or ton so i wouldnt know where to start as far as price goes.

Re: Need help pricing 65 chevy

You can ask what it is NOT what its worth ...... look here for where the vin should be http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php?p=3000006

from your pics its a 64 1 ton ... from the paper work VIN its a 65 3/4 ton long wheel base pick-up WHICH would NOT have dual wheels looks like someone has played with paper work and VIN tags????... Also the badging says its 64 C30 .... and that would match the drive train ....... BET you will find that the paper DONT match the frame numbers

Re: Need help pricing 65 chevy

Must have missed the part about asking the value sorry! Im literally clueless when it comes to vehicles but figured it was a decent trade for my totalled 2005 so now im just trying to figure out what i have. The guy i got it from had traded for it before and said from what he knew someone got it from a junkyard, put new tires on it, and started driving it so i assume the title is incorrect

I would hate to think i had nothing better to do than attack people who were searching for information on something they werent familiar with instead of using the knowledge i had to help someone. I guess you don't know the definition of ignorance. "lack of knowledge or information." For you to start name calling because you lacked the information to something that you were suppose to have read (and probably even checked off a little box to say you did read it), is ridiculous.

Re: Need help pricing 65 chevy

AS for worth ? sounds like your happy with it... there will be times that you wish you never seen it and then others that you think it was the BEST thing you ever did ... Will you ever get what you put into it? PROBABLY NOT ..But did it make you happy? If yes then it was WORTH it .......Some would say its worth $200 and others $4000 ....What the MONETARY VALUE of it is would only be what you can get on the day you sell it .... Again if YOU think that it was a good trade then IT was Worth it ......Paul Harvey Good Day ... LOL

Alright folks, no need to get all heated over this.

A note to ALL members, if you find a post that you know is violating the rules of the forum, you can click the little Red/White triangle next to the online status, below the username area. This is to REPORT a post. Instead of getting into an argument, report the violating post and let the Mods/Admins deal with it. That's what we are here for.
