Rear Main oil seal

Hi
Would i be right in saying all 1969-1971 307Ci motors
have a two piece rear main seal ?

Mine has a casting no of 3970024 which makes it 1969-1971

Engine no T0414CCC so a 2 bolt 307 produced on April 14th 1971 @ Tonawonda

I just need to order some parts and wanted to be sure

Re: Rear Main oil seal

Yes, as far as I know they didn't go to the one piece rear main seal until sometime in the 80's.

Re: Rear Main oil seal

1986 is when the general started putting in the one piece, the same time they went to center bolt valve covers
