I like em both, but we own two shorties, so my vote went with them... I kind of agree with Mr. Flores too...

Re: SWB or LWB trucks???

I went with shorties cuz i love the way they look but for a work truck nothing beats a longbed. So if i could i'd have voted for both.

Re: SWB or LWB trucks???

I agree they swb look sportier, but some of my favorite 60-66's have been lwb. I find the proportions better. If you were talkin' 67+ the I would go swb... just my 2 lincolns

Re: SWB or LWB trucks???

I find the balance nicer with the short box and the cab/front fenders. The long box, although obviously more useful, just goes on a little too long for my liking. On the other hand, the long box step side is kinda neat.

Short for all years. It's like a 2-door vs a 4-door.

Re: SWB or LWB trucks???

I think that the short is too short , and the long too long , I say build one with a 7 foot bed.

Re: SWB or LWB trucks???

My personal preference is a long fleet. I like my crap really, really low, and I think the proportions of the long fleet is better suited for being on the ground. I like both short step, and fleets too, just don't think they look right when you get REALLY low with 'em.

LWB Fleetside, as I also use mine for work.

I think that the SWB Step Side is pretty cool tho.

I voted shorty, but wouldn't pass up a sweet looking long bed...
