Antique Tags anyone?

Does anyone here have antique vanity tags on their truck? My neighbor has a very nice '68 Olds 442. It has the antique tags on it. For those who don't live in a state where they are available, here in Georgia, a vehicle over 20 years old can have a tag that reads "antique" on an emblem on the tag.

I kind of think that they are better suited for complete restorations, or originals that look good, not for those that are say....50 percent or so, like mine. I wouldn't feel right parading it around as an antique that does not look as it should. Anyone else?
