Radio question.

We are in the process of installing a new radio and speaker set and we are having a little trouble. I bought a new dual speaker set from custom auto-sound, and we are have trouble refitting the center A/C vent. Has anyone done this instillation before? Do you have to modify any brackets to get the speaker and the center vent to fit together?

Thanks...

Oh man, it has been a whole lotta years since I put one of those in my truck, but I'm 99% sure I didn't need to modify anything. Also pretty sure I didn't remove the center vent, just the ducting. Sorry I'm not more help.

Cool Center Vent

I closed off the driver side of the center vent with duct tape, so that the air would blow out better. Awhile later when I was putting in my new system it helped out that I had done it. You have one less tube of air to blow through and you plug the distribution out let up and force more flow through three tubes and istead of four. I think it help anyways.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
