Rattle Can Green: Opinions

The truck is originally a Dark Olive 72. The PO bought the truck in 75 and rattle canned it white sometime in the late 90's. I was bored and went to the wally-world this morning and got some Satin Green Italian Olive Krylon. Thinking about doing the whole truck satin green with white roof and bumpers. It will be lowered soon with cut fronts and Gbody rears. Its just a $600 beater truck for now untill I get the space to tear it apart and make nice.

looks good in olive drab green you should finish it that way just use satin white for the top

mine's not the same color, mine's Hunt Club Green Restoleum, but it's close...

would've liked to have left it gold if there wasn't three different shades and tons of body filler over rust

all i did on the bed was scuff it with a scotch brite pad and sprayed it. Ill be da'ing the whole truck now and spraying it with the rattle can since i like it. It took 2 cans to do one bed side and the front half of both fenders (i had the grill off so i went ahead and did that). Id say you could do the entire truck with about 12-15 cans and cover it pretty well

dont really know how long it will last,but for $3.50 a can you can touch it up anytime, lol
