Exclamation Need wiring help with blower switch connections

My blower stopped working, again. Last winter I replaced the blower motor and relay. Now it stopped again, not sure if it's a power problem or switch. I'm going to check now but need info on what wires and where they connect to the blower switch.

It's an a/c 72 C20 truck that a po put a wrong switch in. I have an old correct one which I'm gonna try putting in. Wires were cut and new ends put on so I don't know which color goes on whick terminal (plug gone).

If some one can tell me what color wires go where, or has a pic of this I would really appreciate it. It's getting cold!

Thanks and happy holidays to all!

Re: Need wiring help with blower switch connections

I was having the same problem with mine until I checked the heat and AC fuses and the AC one was blown. I swapped it and it blows like mad now. Not sure why theres an AC fuse on a non AC truck though...

Re: Need wiring help with blower switch connections

Thanks guys. I have it working but only on one setting. From the look of the diagram (thanks John) there is a resistor. Can anyone tell me where it is located (or supposed to be)? Could also be the switch itself I guess.

Thanks again
