helper springs
67-72 Chevy trucks came with an optional "helper" spring for rear coiled trucks. Does anyone know where I could find a pair of these?

I got something like that on an 68 truck I had quite a while back.
and they are still laying around I didn't know it was a factory option though I thought they were homemade. Do they look like a half a leaf spring with only one leaf. I beleive they have a bolt hole through then to attach to the frame. Do they really help a coil spring truck when carrying a load?
