Cooling Problems??

Here is a pic of my double 4-core I had made up for my truck.
I can idle in heavy traffic all day with the A/C on full blast.
If any of you have cooling problems this will fix it.
It is a all copper Harrsion setup so it can be fixed easily if the need ever arrises.
If you can see it in the little pic, I had to notch for the A/C pulley and extend the top brackets for the extra unit but that was all.
It was a direct bolt on otherwise.
One of the best mods I did.

so does that make it like 8 row then? looks like a monster. How close is it to the fan, and how much did it cost?

Okay,
I'll explain,
You have a four core in your truck even if you have a Big-Block.
This is two four cores put together for a total of eight cores.
Twice the cooling capacity in other words.

It was $198.
You buy two new four cores and have a shop put them together.

It doesnt look like two put together though. It looks just a little bit bigger then a regular 4-row. Maybe im trippin', but I looked at my 4-row and compared it to the support in front of it and it looks just a little bigger, but not twice as big. Are you sure thats (2) 4-core radiators put together? How come there is no seems from where they were put together? Not trying to start anything, just doesnt seem right.

Phonex,
It looks like there is no seam between them because I had new "caps" put on both sides of the two 4 cores.

Ok so is it a 4-row, but longer then stock 4-row?
Or are you saying its (2) 4-row forming an 8-row?
It looks longer, but not thicker/wider.
Im a bit confused if its not longer.

Sorry to mess you up like that Phoenix,
It is the same heigth and width as the stock radiator but twice as deep. It has 8 cores front to rear.
I saw a buddy the other day with a stock '85 C-10 and looked at his radiator. It looked very thin compared to mine.

You still have plenty of clearance for the fan with this mod (on a small block long water pump type) I don't know about a big block but I could check that if anybody needs.

Need more photos..............

The way that one looks is confusing. and the end cap looks as if this was the original radiator................
