Re: OffRoad Lights

not really aftermarket set up, but GMC's 4 eyes do a damn good job.
I put newer lenses and bulbs(55/110) in the high low, and 100 watt jams in the high beam location.
When all 4 lights are on, they might as well be off-road lights. gives me almost daylight output for about 15' to the side and 30' or so above the road at least 80 yards out.
I ended up swapping out the low/hi beams for a 35w HID set-up, since I don't drive it off road and wanted more lower projection for the street.

Re: OffRoad Lights

I get some tractor implement lights from the local Co-op or parts store. They are in a rubber housing with 3/8 stud to mount with. It comes with a flood light bulb then I buy spot light bulb to replace the flood. The set-up is about $50 each & alot brighter & compact than any "offroad" light I've seen.
Alot like these:

Re: OffRoad Lights

My 79, two foggers in the front bumper, two KC's in the grille guard, and four KC's up top on a Dick Cepek bar. If I ever find a decent priced good shape SWB rollbar, I will loose the Dick Cepek bar and mount those four on the roll bar.
