Re: Looking for 4x4 Dually pics

This is the only pic, I have on this computer, of the one we used to have...
okay actually it was my husband's, but he let me drive it sometimes, even though I looked like a 10yr old sitting in it.
Was wicked in the mud. Could go through just about anything. Everybody wanted to go through a hole before us as this thing really dug.
However, with a 4x4 truck like this, you will become the community tow truck especially for stuck tractors & F250s But that's a good thing because then you can charge them $20-40 = they're happy to get pulled out & now you have some gas money to feed that beast!!!

Re: Looking for 4x4 Dually pics

Here's my brother's 88 V30. This pic is old and this truck is really rusty. This winter we are going to rebuild the poor thing. He just landed a rust free 79 cab for $300.

Re: Looking for 4x4 Dually pics

Here are a few pics of my buddy's 70 1 ton converted to 4wd. He is swapping in a Dana 70 rear axle and a Dana 60 front axle this winter.

Gotta love the view of the rear tires

Re: Looking for 4x4 Dually pics

I've been looking for a dually for a long time but had no luck finding a rust free or drivable truck. What I really wanted was a reg cab, short bed 4x4, 80s era dually. Found one for sale already lifted and priced right but it was rusted to hell under the bondo. Luckily it was tall enough to get under easily to see that.
Got a truck already so I'll file that wish under the "wait to hit the lotto to fill the garage with all the trucks I want" file.

Yeah know what mean making some cash doing some towing. During spring break we haul down to the beach for a couple weeks. All these kids come from upcountry and don't know how to drive in the sand and get all their little cars stuck. We don't charge but we don't turn down any "donations". We get 20 bucks her and there and don't have to buy any beer the whole time cus the kids just give it away when their freed. We made a couple hundred bucks one weekend last year. Mostly we do it for fun, just to see if we can unstuck em.

Re: Looking for 4x4 Dually pics

Well Its not the prettiest thing in the world but its a 4x4 dually. It was actually a cab a chassis model so the frame is longer, I need the front half of one more bed so I can fill in the gap you see there.
