Brakes power vs manual

Alright so lurking here on the board I've started to notice a few trucks running manual brakes for example Hazel, Stella, Ginger and a few others I think I defiantly cleans up the look of the firewall. So my question is how well do they brake? I've drivin manual drums before but on my truck I'm gonna run disc/drum setup just wonder how big of a difference in stopping power it will be thanks

Re: Brakes power vs manual

It takes a bit of effort on the pedal but it stops very good. I have four wheel Willwood disc set up.

Now that's what I'm talkin about very nice!! it just looks so clean without a bulky booster, so that Wilwood mc is there any more power over a stock style mc or is it just for eye candy

Love the truck Big Al. Absolutely beautiful. Fastcam - If you wanted power brakes but didn't want everything seen, you could probably run a 90 degree under the dash unit. I think CPP makes a bracket and all that fits your truck.
