3/4T Steering Box Upgrade - Options?

My steering box is leaking and I can't remember having it rebuilt, I may have just cleaned it up. If I have to replace it, I'd like to get something that's not 23 turns lock to lock like the factory unit.

In my Camaro I have a more modern Saginaw 500.

Does anyone make a 500 or 600 series box for the THREE QUARTER TON trucks? I'm sure options fall from the sky for you half-ton guys, but if there's a vendor out there that has anything for the 3/4T (Longhorn, in my case) please let me know!

I did find:

http://hhclassic.com/i-20921727-500-...ring-gear.html

and it says "1/2 and 3/4" but are they actually the same? I don't have a 1/2T to compare to.

I don't there is any difference in the boxes from 1/2 to 3/4 ton. The sector shaft and pitman arm is different 2WD to 4WD.

The box you link to looks like the original 800 series saginaw.

I think CPP makes a 400 or 500 series that fits GM trucks
