leaf spring bushing question

I just picked up a brand new set of 52" leaf springs. They came with the factory press in style bushings. Should I replace them with the new poly bushings I have or just run them as is? I did a search and didn't really get the answer I need.

Re: leaf spring bushing question

Is this for ur 4x4 build?

I upgraded all the bushing on my K10, offroaddesign.com has greasable bushings with greasable bolts. They shoudl be able to get u what ever bushings and bolts u need, just give them dimensions.

I went with greasable on my 4x4 so it would flex easier, and living near the coast and since my truck will see sand n clay with salt water I wanted to be able to grease.

If for a 4x2 i would go with whats already in there.

I can show pics if u like.

Re: leaf spring bushing question

I already have all new poly bushings, since I was gonna use an older set of 52's for my front springs. But when i pulled them apart to clean and paint them, I found a crack on one of the main leafs. For less than $300 I just bought new 52's.
