Brake booster & master cylinder

Bought an '83 parts truck for my 66 project - got the front crossmember with steering box and pump, disk brakes, tilt column; will the brake booster and master cylinder work also?

Cool - thanks.
Looks like some mounting fabrication will have to take place, so I wasn't sure.

Re: Brake booster & master cylinder

I had one person tell me I would have to fab a bracket, and another said it bolted right up. So Let me know what happens, because I still havn't done mine yet.

Re: Brake booster & master cylinder

It'll be awhile for me to get to also, but I'm pretty sure it won't bolt on directly, just looking at the bolt pattern on the original.
I noticed some of the high-dollar aftermarket versions have vertical slots for bolt holes on a bracket that looks very similar to the '83 bracket. My main concern is the pedal-rod geometry working properly. We'll see, I guess.
