Lowering with headers

What's the most anybody's dropped their truck while running full length headers? I'm looking for a 4.5" in front, and I'm willing to sacrifice travel for the look I want.
If anyone has pictures it would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

well... I have a 4" drop on my 70' I have flowtech full lengths on it also. I only have about 3" to 3.5" of clearance sitting still. Here's a shot of the headers on flat ground.

lol i know! They don't hit on the small speed bumps. I haven't tried to hit a bigger one though. I've been avoiding anything steep or rough so I don't smash one or both of the headers.

I wish I could get someone do design a header that would clear on these trucks. I could make a fortune!!

Well, they do have the shorty headers that have the collector ending much higher up in the truck, but of course I discovered them way after I put in the Headmans.
I also discovered modified engine mounts that let the entire engine sit higher, bringing the exhaust
up a bit, but that's too much work for one guy.
I can live with 3.5" of clearance...I'm a veteran of the mini truck 80's!

I'm using Chevelle headers on my BBC and they tuck above the frame. If I remember right, the SBC Chevelle headers work too.

My truck is lowerd 4.5 in the front I had dynomaxes and never hit them on anything I now have doug thorleys they dont hang as low.

Hey guys, here's a great link to a site that can help you build a set of headers (and they'll be better than anything you can buy from ANY manufacturer). Just a FYI. HEADERS BY ED You may be thinking that is more work than you really want to do but after you build your first set you'll never want to by the other junk again.

My truck is bagged with no drop spindles or notch and I am running full length heddman headers and the collectors sit about 1/4-1/8 of an inch from the ground when its aired out all the way. however when I get spindles and a notch I'm going to go back to cast manifolds and a new exhaust setup so I can drag
