Lowering Shackles

Does anybody know if rear lowering shackles from a 88 and up truck will fit ours , I looked on jegs website and they have some that fit 73-87 ,88 and up and also ford trucks but then others are listed just to fit 88 and up.Whats the scoop?

Re: Lowering Shackles

I think the only real difference is length . The 88 up truck rear shackles are about 1/2 longer from the factory than 73-87 so they will probably lower it 2.25 to 2.5 inches instead of the normal 2 inches . This is just my memory so I would double check before buying .
