Wheel tub orientation

Which way does the large round hole go, towards the front of the truck or the rear?

Re: Wheel tub orientation

That's odd, both tubs have that hole. Is there a left and right or are the tubs universal?

It goes where the big bolt goes !

Never seen that. I am pretty sure tubs are identical & can go on either side. Could someone have drilled them for some reason ? If so, what for ?

Re: Wheel tub orientation

Not sure what they would be for. I bought these from a board member along with a pair of Woodall bedsides and floor so I don't know the history on them.

Tubs are not side specific. Someone drilled those holes.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Wheel tub orientation

Thanks for the confirmation guys. I removed by bed and got rid of it three years ago and I should have taken reference pics but I didn't.

Re: Wheel tub orientation

I thought maybe tie downs also. Not sure what else you would need holes for, except maybe a fifth wheel.

Re: Wheel tub orientation

I will probably just leave the holes, I don't want to drill any holes in the new bed floor.
