Goodyear Polyglas on 71C10

I really love the old look to these tires, but i havent seen many on trucks. What do you think on 71C10? ive got the original rallys with knockoffs with 5.5/6 drop

Great looking tire, however you will have the problems that come with poly tires. They follow grooves in the road, they do not grip like a radial, and you don't get as much ware out of them. WES

Great for smoke shows though?

I would only use them on a vehicle I am doing a period factory correct restoration on, and don't drive it very much.

i just think the bfgoodrich and cooper cobras and so forth with the white lettering look very generic and "overused." just my opinion. i dont drive very much. i think i drove around 200 miles last year.

I really like the firestone wide ovals, but they dont make them big enough to fit a 15x10" rim

Re: Goodyear Polyglas on 71C10

there were no original rally wheels on a 71C10 truck

i'd never run a belted tire again as i drive vehicles and like the performance and safety of radials tires

Re: Goodyear Polyglas on 71C10

Thanks for the input guys. I meant original rims, 15x10 and 15x7. Now on to what color for the rims. Hard putting everything together to get the exact look you are looking for.
