Final Scheme Posted!
First; many thanks to Josh K, Carter H, Nitro Mike and Rob Hartley for introductions, support and help trying to make this truck happen!
Carter has done such a great job that we're having trouble making a decision. We're going to poll it and see what you think (Green on green...help me out). 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Last edited by jb4short; 05-11-2007 at 08:46 AM. |

Re: Help us choose a paint scheme!
I wanna know a little more about the software required to do this.......that's just plain fricken cool!!
What's the process? How much is the software? Does it take multiple software titles to get to the finished rendering? I do CAD stuff for a living, so I'm just naturally curious.

I love the first one!! Cant say i've ever seen anything like that one. Ive seen trucks similar to the others except 6&7. Number 2 is good, but the colors on 1 are more appealing.

Re: Help us choose a paint scheme!
I'm for the creme over black myself...BUT I built an extended cab dually with pearl white over emerald green with tribals seperating. Much like the scheme you've got to choose, it was beautiful...like candy!

Re: Help us choose a paint scheme!
Honestly, I don't like any of the choices but I voted for the 1st one over the others.
Okay, let the flames begin. But make them tribal flames please.

Re: Help us choose a paint scheme!
HartRod put me onto the idea of making an investment in rendering our paint scheme before spending money on paint. I can't begin to explain how happy I am with our choice to go ahead and pay to have these done and we're grateful for his advice.....frankly it's less expensive than a decent gallon of paint and there's no guesswork in what it will look like finished. Anyone wanting this type work done can PM Blaz-air (Carter) and have it done for their own project.
Josh- I know you'll like the end result. |

Re: Help us choose a paint scheme!
I like the first one but not with tribal style flames. I like the licks of the flame on that one better than the others, just not the overdone tribal part of em. Im sure whatever you pick though will look great.

Re: Help us choose a paint scheme!
I personnally like the green tribal flames over green base, it is really cool !!!!
I live in the same town as me and we are friends and run around together and it was a tough decision for him to sell the truck, but now he is stoked !!!! We can't wait to see the final version. I can remember the old blue gmc version. Your version will be beautiful when completed, can't wait to see it for real, hopefully you can come to Dayton with it, or at least if nothing else we can see the pics. COOL !!!! |
