Help- Leaking water in passenger side floor board

Like the title says I have water coming into my cab onto my passenger floorboard. I did some water tests and it is coming in from below the windshield wiper...when water goes into the vent there. Does anyone know if there is a drainage tube that could be blocked up, or a hole that shouldn't be there? Any help would be great.

I'll bet it's a hole someone drilled for the radio coax cable. Go ahead and plug it. The water the comes in the grill/cowl opening is suppose to run to each side and down to the cowl drain opening that is inside the fender. (see red arrow)

I'll check the drain hole. As for someone drilling a hole. My truck has original am radio in it so i doubt anyone did any modifications to the firewall. I hope I can figure it out.

Sonds like you might have a rust hole. Sometimes it's hard to determine where water is coming from as it will find away through the smallest of holes.

Re: Help- Leaking water in passenger side floor board

I just fixed the same thing on my truck. Remove the cowl (5 screws and 4 bolts). Once you pull it off, chances are you will find a spot of rust below the corner of your windshield. Both sides of my truck had water coming in. I was really worried considering the volume of water coming in, but it turned out to be minor. Also, check the antenna wire. I had to reseal mine. The old sealant just was too old and not cutting it anymore. Good luck.

It sounds like you have ruled out a leaky heater core, but I thought I would through it out there. I agree with the others. It's most likely a small rust hole hiding under the cowl.
