Took glove box out and mounted it on the firewall.

Used the extended Painless harness and mounted it under the drivers seat.

as far away from heat as possible id asume. on my sand rail its under my seat.

See the 3 screws on the flat part of the glovebox liner,it's mounted on the backside of it(wire hanging down had not been connected up yet.

In my gmc, it is located under the custom center console.

In the 68 chevy, I will mount it under the hood. The GenIII motors can have the computer mounted under the hood....that's where they're at from the factory.

i mounted mine on the passanger side under the bench seat along with the spark control module,fuel pump & run relays and fuses with the long painless harness.that was 58,000 miles ago without any problems.

Where did you run the wires through, fire wall or other and how big of a hole did you have to cut to get the big plug for the computer through? Got to see what others have done so I know what to do when I get to mine.

Mine's under the left side of the dash. I used the stock 89 thru-firewall square plastic thing from the donor truck to run the wiring inside.
