I need help finding shocks for my lowered 69 any one know of some good places I don't know what size I need but if some one can explain how to get the sizes I can find out what I need

I would talk to whoever sold you the drop kit and see what they have available. Other option is to take measurements from center to center then get a book at the auto parts store. Another option is to move the mounts to get the center to center you need to match the shock that is available

If you did dropped front spindles, then stock length shocks will work in the front. Rear you need to measure like already mentioned.

I just installed CPP shocks for dropped applications. So far they ride great. My truck is lowered 4.5/6. Front part # Cpp-m1200gll Rear Cpp-4052g

Search for a thread 'proper dampening ECE....". It's a discussion about decent shocks for lowered trucks. The consensus is that KYB shocks suck. CPP gas shocks are better, sizes for different amounts of lowering on on the CPP site, $40 each. Ridetech shocks are the best, $140 each. I ordered some CPPs to replace my KYBs that came with the ECE lowering kit.

I have CPP 4" drop springs & a 1" block on the rear of my GMC, adj. track bar & shock relocator kit. I installed this stuff a couple of years ago with CPP's shocks and I don't think they lasted very well. It's bouncy and I need to figure the correct Monroe, Gabriel or other name-brand shock to replace 'em. I have Monroe's on the front with a 2.5" drop and a 1" spring and the front has way better bounce damping than the rear.
