If you found a genie…
A c10 genie to be precise, and he gave you one wish, to have any 67-72 gm truck you wanted. What you you have him bring you?
I would ask for a brand new 67 c10 just as it rolled out of the factory, with zero miles on it. Shortbed fleetside 2wd Dark aqua poly and white 2-tone Panoramic window CST trim Buddy buckets Side trim AC PB 327/auto Full wheel covers Chrome bumpers Wood bed floor And I wouldn’t modify a thing! How about you…

Re: If you found a genie…
I would take a 72 K20 auto with all the options in the book, Super etc. Color would be dark green metalic (forgot the actual name) with a white top.

Re: If you found a genie…
Another vote for Barbara Eden. Tony Nelson was an idiot, but he did drive a nice GTO. But I would have fallen in love with Jeannie at first sight.
On a side note, Barbara Eden in real life is a really nice person with a great sense of humor.

69-72 GMC Suburban 4x4, fully loaded: Big Block, Auto, Power Steering, Power Brakes, A/C, Cruise, AM/FM Radio, Headliner, Carpet, Side Panels, Front Bucket Seats, 2nd and 3rd row seats, Tailgate and Hatch, Upper and Lower Body Moldings, etc.
It would probably be in Orange and White or Root Beer Brown and White.

Re: If you found a genie…
I'd get the red '72 shortbed stepside Cheyenne that my dad's long-time associate drove to work with him every day when I was a kid. That truck is what sparked my interest in these trucks. I can still remember the way it smelled of cigarette smoke and chewing gum.

Re: If you found a genie…
Oh, yeah, back on topic... I'd go with a 72 Blazer, of course. Most any color would do for me, although I'm fond of my dark yellow. All the options - mine's pretty close, but there are a few I'd like to have.
And I still wouldn't mind if Barbara Eden delivered it.

Re: If you found a genie…
My wish would be a wrecker truck 1967 C-30 ton black just like the junk yard guy Bob Munson bought new .. the Junk yard was about a mile from where I lived back then. I thought that was the neatest looking truck I had ever seen. I went with him to pull out a old car that was giving to him a few times to help.. he kept it shined up black too.

Re: If you found a genie…
Well I'll be the odd man out here. I have already owned, bought, built and sold some very nice 67-72 trucks and Blazers so my itch has been scratched.
These are out of my league so a Genie would be my only hope of ever owning one. We all have opinions and various likes but my opinion is there was never a better/greater looking car ever Hot Rodded than a 40-41 Willys Coupe. My only problem would be making up my mind between a Pro Street or a Gasser so I'd ask the Genie for one of each. If the Genie says only one....The Pro Street gets a special parking place in my barn. |

Re: If you found a genie…
But if its a C10 genie I should be able to have up to an 87.
I don't really want a 67-72....

Re: If you found a genie…
Hmm. Well, I can't necessarily decide on one, but this 1969 step side sure does it for me, assuming a 396 and AC.

Re: If you found a genie…
I'd be requesting a 67 Burban in 503 with a white top (Sound familiar? ) and for all the sheet metal to be stainless steel!

Re: If you found a genie…
I’d just be happy with my K20 as built originally. Only things I’d probably add are a tach, and to upgrade from Cheyenne to Cheyenne super.

Re: If you found a genie…
Pretty genie but she'd end up being a back seat driver in a vehicle with no back seat.
