Tucker Carlson 87 C10

In case this hasn't been posted here yet. I thought it was great when he said having no electronics meant there was no way for the government to turn off the engine if he was disobedient! (I doubt the HEI could be hacked!)

1969 C10 (not the current one) that I bought in the early 1980s. Paid $1200; sold for $1500 a few years later. Just a hint at the appreciation that was coming.

Re: Tucker Carlson 87 C10

Always neat to listen and see a person who is known by many and very popular with a old Chevy Truck and proud to own it .. Did he mean 4 speed ahead instead of 5 ? And what do you all think,,,,, does he own the other thing there that he does not know how to open the door too. ? I do like the Grille in the 87's so much that I have one installed in my 83 Cehvy K10

This post has absolutely nothing to with the election. Just a guy showing off his truck. Kinda like how the current president does in fact have a bad ass corvette that he has show off before too.

Re: Tucker Carlson 87 C10

There's no such thing as an 87 C10. That 87 R10 left the factory electronic fuel injection. With Silverado trim, delay wipers and cruise control also had electronics.

The truck is cool, but it definitely has some electronic components.

Right, but 60-87 half-ton trucks are typically referred to as C10. For example, I've never heard of an R10 club, show, or forum. So, I think we can forgive Mr. Carlson.

Google "C10" to see what you find, and then "R10".

As for electronics, I'm sure he meant things like On-Star and wireless communications.
