6" rear drop coils???
What kind of ride quality do you end up with, using the 6" drop rear coils?

had them on my truck for three years before I bagged it. ...if you carry any type of heavy weight the axle will hit the frame. other than that for every day use A+!!!

I have them and they ride pretty well. However, I am going to install a c-notch to give it more travel.

I have heard a 4" springs with a 2" lowering block is a better ride.

Wheel tubs are still stock...though my axle is a bit close to the bottom of the bed...any lower and I would have to cut the floor....and thats not happening....if i was to do it over it would be 4'' front and 6'' rear...that would make it a bit more "driver" friendly...

the ride should be fine as the springs are made with spring rates in mind, just a shorter version of oe. the taller the spring the better tho. so a 4 inch spring and 2 inch block will ride a little better. only time ride would be a real issue would be if you cut the springs. also you will need an adjustable panhard bar to recenter the rear.

I have 6 inch springs also with no problems. I have heard that blocks cause wheel hop though. Or is that just on leaf spring vehicles because of spring wrap?

6" spring 1" block with the bed off and CNotched so you can see how close it would be. Remeber this is not weighted, so it would be a bit lower once the bed is back on. Also, my trailing arms have been moved so you'd actually be about .75" lower than this.
