Will A C-3 Corvette Master Cylinder Work?

My stock master cylinder needs replacement, and I was thinking of using a Corvette 4 wheel disk one. I plan on going to 4 wheel disks eventually, but am wondering whether it would work with my disk/drum setup. I compared the master cylinder on my Corvette to the one on my Blazer, and the sizes and mounts are the same, and the brake lines are in the same place, the only thing different is the size of the fluid reservoir. I'm not sure about the bore sizes or how the piston attaches to the brake pedal though...

Right now it takes a pretty healthy push on the brakes to come close to locking the tires up on the Blazer, whereas my Corvette has fantastic brakes (The Vette does have all new four wheel disks, calipers, and master cylinder). I would like to improve the brakes on the Blazer. Anybody ever try this??

Also, is there a better stock caliper for the front disk brakes (say from a later model truck). The originals just don't seem that great.

Update: A fellow on the CK5 forum runs the Corvette master cylinder and says it bolts right up. He is running rear disks though..
