Red face Drip rails

I just got a 79 burb. The previous owner removed the drip rails above all of the doors. Only the one above the barn doors in the rear is missing. But, how where these attached? Does any one have an extra rear drip rail? Any help is appreciated

69panel,

The drip panels are held in place by 6 to 8 small screws. I removed the drip rails on my truck for a smooth appearence. I also changed out the door weather strips to keep the air and rain out. The strips can be ordered from a catalogue or the dealer.

Cool

69panel,

The new door weather strips have kept out all rain and air out so far. I get more water and air inside the cab from the small air vent windows. I wish someone made a one piece window kit. I will probably replace the weather strips on the small windows and hope they help keep the wind noise down and rain out.

chemist,
do like i did on those wing windows, i dont use them anyways so i opened them and then put a thin coat of that black RTV sealer on the seal and closed the windows.i also replaced and doubled the rubber washers around the wing latches. i dont get wind noise through there and you cant even tell what i did. its a cheap fix till someone designs a one piece window kit. all the wind noise i get is from the felt window channels, they are worn out and also causes my windows to run slow with them running on the rubber where the felt is worn out. i am also trying to wait for those windows for that. with my luck i will buy the new kit for 100.00 bucks and then someone will design the windows, then i just waisted 100.00 bucks.
