Re: Bellflower tips

What length are you going to run? I have the 24" (30" overall) and they look like they will work, but they might be a bit long. The place I got them from offered 30" and 36"...I recently found a place that carried 18" ones...They might be the best bet for our short trucks. As for mine, I'm gonna try to get them shortened if its possible, if not, I'll probably sell them and get the 18's...

Re: Bellflower tips

I just ordered some 18" yesterday. I was going to go with 24's , but the 18's were on sale . I'll see how the fit when I get them and will post pics. I Have a long bed so hopefully they wont look to short,if they do maybe we can work some thing out.

Re: Bellflower tips

They were made popular back in the 60's ,by the cruisers of Bellflower Ca.
Think low, Astro supream wheels, skinny white walls, custom paint ,flaked roofs, not realy lowriders .
there are many styles of "tips" lake pipe, fishtails, pencil, dumps, etc.
The Bellflower tip is what we in the Westcoast call that style .

Re: Bellflower tips

Its not just a regular chrome tip. Bellflowers were usually run like that in the picture, mounted kind of below the outside of the fender, all the way down the fender. The tips also have a chrome 90 degree bend to hook up to the exhaust. Let me look around and find some better pix.
