PICS of some bad stuff under bed.

To those who have been helping me out, this thread makes sense. ...and thank you.

Wow, those are crappy pictures. My daughter's camera...
Are those the correct Ubolt sizes? They seem kinda thin to me. The rust is really worse than the pictures show. Am I crazy, or does the frame look slightly bend(buckled down) at the mount?

Too bad you dont have any west coast connections..... there are tons of these frames gettin crushed weekly at junkyards....

If you need a new frame and that is a SWB truck I may have a frame for you in about a month if you would be interested. The frame is in Owensboro KY which may be farther than you would be willing to go for a frame, but I will make sure I post once I pull all the parts I need off of it.

that U bolt looks like the ones that came off the 69 rear I'm sticking in my truck...

and what's wrong with that frame? looks pretty solid to me...

He said something about it being bent, I think that was the main problem. Also he said the rust was worse than it looks.

Yes. I'll be looking over a 69 stepside tonight(possible donor). I'll check the frame angles there. The rust on my truck is quite complete on the inside of the pass. spring mount. The frame is rusted to nothing right along with it. A PO attached the coil spring bolt to a broken off piece of leaf spring with a hole drilled in it! Didn't even weld the piece in!
