Whatever color you like is the right color. These trucks didnt come with rally wheels so you cant screw it up. Eastwood has argent silver rally wheel paint...

Re: rally wheels

I'd pick a color that is in contrast with my paint finish and have them powder-coated. Or, maybe you could do them in a co-ordinating color.

So, what color is the body?

Re: rally wheels

Light Gray Metal Flake, It Can E Bought At Auto Zone Or Advance Auto Parts. You Also Need To Spray Clear Coat On The Wheels To Really Make Them Shine. That To Also Can Be Bought At The Auto Parts. I Belive The Can Says Rally Wheels. And There Is A Couple Of Different Colors To Choose From. Look At Mine, You Can Find Pictures On This Board.

Re: rally wheels

I went to autozone and got a good looking metallic silver and clear coated them. Turned out good. The wheel is a little dirty in that pic though.

Re: rally wheels

WalMart rattlecan silver. Wire wheel on an electric drill & cleaned with thinner.

Not perfect, but acceptable (at least to me) for a plain Jane driver. Almost 4 years out in the weather 24/7/365.

I don't have the money to bite the bullet right now. Besides my truck needs enough work that there are too many more important things to buy for it. If i were to powdercoat it to match the truck I would have to Powder coat them three differant colors and add some spots of primer...so for now rattle can it is.....the near stock color will match my truck about as good as anything and I may buy different rims down the road anyway.

Re: rally wheels

okay, sorry didn't know your situation, but maybe down the road you should strongly consider it, the rattle caned ones don't look bad at all

Re: rally wheels

Try Rust-o-lem Hammered, I like the silver on ralleys. Sometimes a red, green, yellow etc. contrasts with a flat paint job. But grey or silver is the timeless look.
