Brake lights

Trying to get my 1964 Chevy back on the road for spring. After installing a new wiring harness and headlight switch my running lights and brake lights stopped working. I have checked all connections and installed new bulbs. Automotive wiring is not my thing so any suggestions would be helpful.

Re: Brake lights

make sure you have a good ground at the tailights. Sometimes it helps to add a wires from the housing to the chassis.

Yes.... This!!. I've found most of the electrical problems on my truck are from bad grounds.
