Spindles or control arms?

Hi all,

I am ramping up for my winter project which will be to lower my 84' crew cab dually. My plan is to shoot for a 4/5 drop. The front will be either DJM control arms and a 1" drop spring or belltech spindles and a 1" drop spring. The rear will be your standard shackle and hanger + spring pack mods.

The question is regarding the front. Any reason I should pick control arms over spindles or the opposite? If there are advantages to a particular path please list them.

Thanks
Jim
