who needs this latch part for bedside toolbox?

Hi folks,

I am thinking of having the below part CNC machined out of brass and stainless steel. I have been speaking with a parts fabricator in my area and he can do it, but the cost would only be reasonable if I had him make at least 25 of them.

He believes he can make the part for about $35 each if I order 25. Just checking to see if there is enough demand out there to justify doing this. I wouldn't be making anything off this venture, but simply lowering my price and that for others who might be interested. Please PM me and let me know if you might be interested.

Also, I will need a loaner part that is in very good condition in order for him to perform 3d scanning of the part. I would obviously return the part to the lender very quickly and in the same condition.

Thanks in advance, looking forward to hearing back.

(Incidentally, he recommends brass for the upper, latch bigger portion, and stainless steel for the pin below it)

Thanks,

Brian
