1970 power booster install

Hey guys, so Im converting my truck over to disc brakes, and i just finished mocking up the power booster, my question is, do i hook up the pushrod from the booster back in the same location where the old one was on the pedal?, or do i have to make another hole for it?... Thanks.... Im running cpp disc brake conversion lines, and ebay power booster.

Re: 1970 power booster install

Mine is in the same spot. Brakes felt a little touchy until I got used to it, but after a few hundred miles I like it.

Re: 1970 power booster install

I have the stock booster mount from a donor, and the stock power brake rod. I lenthened the rod as far as it would go to get as much pedal height as I could, but thats all. Pedal is closer to the floor than with the manual brakes, but still plenty of travel.
