Was Medium Blue an option on 1967 GMC trucks? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I can't seem to find a definitive answer on this. Ditzler lists a medium blue for 67 Chevys but not GMC. Thy only list a light blue for a GMC. I have seen other paint chips ( don't remember what brand) that list it. Can anyone confirm either way?

Is your SPID still intact? The paint code was 506 in 67.

No I don't have a SPID so I was hoping someone could confirm theirs actually has the 506 paint code on it. Thanks for the picture. The one I was looking at doesn't list the medium blue:

You're welcome. My 67 was originally 506 and I plan on going back to that color. I was afraid of what it would look like. I don't think all blues are created equal. Its hard to confirm with anyone else what the color actually looked like. You can find blue C10s all day long but no confirmation of 506. I found an unpainted area on the back of my cab and wet sanded and buffed it to see what it looked like. Medium blue poly is a beautiful color!!

Mines a 68 GMC Light Blue, I had a 67 GMC that was red (faded Cab color) but don't remember if there was even a Light Blue available in 67.

I agree. It's one of my favorite colors on our trucks. Thanks everyone for your help. I would still like to see it listed on a GMC SPID if anyone has it.
