Bed Swap

Will a long bed off of a 1967 c10 fit on a 1972 long bed without any problems? I'm going to replace the bed on my 72 lwb c10 and the bed I'm looking at is off a lwb 67 c10 and was wondering if the mounts and everything will match up and be like putting another 72 bed on it. I figured it'll be the same since its the same generation, but just wanted to check with y'all before I spend the money on it.
Thanks for the help.

Re: Bed Swap

Should line up just the same, I haven't messed with the LWB but I know the SWB beds swap out with no issue. Don't forget that the 67 Bed won't have marker lights.

Re: Bed Swap

FWIW, I installed a 69 long bed on my 71 no issue. the only thing is that the bolts were in a differant location. still had mounts on the body for either bed, so again, no issue

Re: Bed Swap

I will pry just cut them out and mount the marker lights because this is a very good deal and one I can't pass up if you know what I mean.
